PokeProject Blog

The following pages have been re-written, spell checked, and have also been grammar checked.  I have also checked if they are xHTML strict and I am happy to say they all are:

• F.A.Q
• Affiliate
• Support
• Advertise
• Contributors
• Link To Us

All I need to do now is re-write the whole History section.  Then do all the spell, grammar, and xHTML checks and it is done.  Then I need to add a contact form to the contact page.  I need to fix some links up on the support page and then they are all finished.

I am also going to add some Sugimori Pokemon art to the pages.  Make them look a little bit better.  Then I need to proceed and get the Site Map up.  I think I am going to create one myself, unless I find a good add-on of some sort.  I then need to add all our current images to the Graphics page.  I will also get some fresh ones created and add them also.

Just thought I would update, as it will remind me of what I have done and what I need to do.

I have completed the re-vamp for the Advertise and the Link To Us page.  I edited the new Advertise page and before I uploaded it I accidentally forgot to save it.  Which means I had to write it all over again.  Also the Contributors page doesn’t need re-vamping because the list is not yet large enough.

So just the History pages to complete now.  I am not looking forward to doing these.  There is a lot to write in them.

I have decided to redo all the general content pages.  So far I have completed the following pages:

• Affiliate Page,
• Contact Page,
• F.A.Q Page,
• And the Support Page.

I need to do the following next:

• All three History pages,
• Advertise,
• Contributors,
• And Link To Us.

I also need to get the Graphics Page sorted.  The History pages are a mess.  So they need completely re-writing.  The others just need correcting.

I am working on getting the PokeProject category of the Website Tab done.  Which is the pink tab with Mew on.  I am then going to have a Blog Theme created that integrates with the website so they match.  I shall then work on getting the Blog going.  I will then regularly update the Blog with general information, updates, and of course some Pokemon Articles.

For now I shall return to my work.  I will update you all soon.

Well, hello no-one.

I have been away from PokeProject for too long.  It is my mission to finally get the website and blogs up and running.  So, instead of writing a full length post of excuses on “why I haven’t done anything in a year” I shall just say I am back and that I have things going down.

Real progress coming soon.

Today I have made good progress with the BETA website once again.  The whole PokeProject category as been completed as planned.  I have even got the “contact us” page up with a form that viewers can use to send me an email easily.  However I am thinking about coding my own as I am using a free website one.

I have also added the Inferno and Hydro main page.  With an introduction to the project as well as navigation instructions.  I have also today integrated a graphics page where PokeProject banners etc can be found.  When I have this page up.  I will be starting on the hosting section.

The hosting section should be all completed with in two days maximum.  However it may take slightly longer as I have to make a “Terms and Conditions” page.  In which I have never written on before.  After this I will make a start on the main Movesets Dex pages.  That’s all to come.  I will keep you informed.

Today I have been working on the website all day. I have all pages up and running with proper navigation and everything. Obviously the only pages that are not up are the movesets, pokedex, etc pages. However they will be added as the content for them are ready.

I need to just get content in the pages now. I have been working on a big F.A.Q page. I am adding all the questions I can think to aviod people asking them so I have more time now and in the future. Tommorow I will be adding more content and hopefully I will have the whole PokeProject category finished. I will then be working on the hosting section, and then the movesets dex. Before I start adding the Pokemon to the dex, I will start adding all of our Inferno and Hydro information to the Inferno and Hydro section.

I will also be deciding weather the Platinum Project will continue or not. I am unsure at the moment on how that will be. It will be decided tommorow and I will let you know. I will also be contacting them three members I talked about in the previous post tommorow. So look back on updates for that.

Today I have gotten up the beat version of the website. Which is basically a secret location where I will build the website so no one can see it except me. Unless you figure out the URL. Anyways I have finished the includes, and I have started adding content to the layout.

I have got the index, history, forum history, website history, and history intro pages up. I have also obviously started the blog again. I have also added this category for “updates”. Over the next day or two I will be aiming to complete all the “PokeProject” general pages.

So then I can start getting main content up. I plan on working at a steady and on-going rate and I will keep posting updates here daily. I am also thinking about the Pokemon Platinum Blog I started. Not sure weather to continue or now.

Anyways. I will keep adding updates daily.

Well, not quite.  Sorry for the long, long await for an update.  Yes….  I am a rapper.  Now in all seriousness.  PokeProject Blog was neglected on purpose.  After all this time I am ready to finally make an update and let everyone know what is going on.  Well basically I was busy for a period of time.  Well a couple of months.  Now I am not so busy, I have started to work on the final PokeProject.

The old layout as been scrapped and I have now bought a new one.  Why, you ask.  The old one was dull, lifeless, and was definitely not a Pokemon looking layout.  Now we have a bright, lively, and Pokemon themed designed.  Obviously I paid a designer, however this time I could not resist as the designer was awesome.  Now what I will be doing is.  I will be working on getting the new website up.  I will be getting all vital pages added, and all content I can personally do myself.

Later on I will have a blog, and forum skin that will match the theme and it will integrate with the websites layout.  Until then, I will be keeping the defaults that are already installed.  You may ask why I am doing the website before the forums, the answer is: Websites with great content pull the viewers to the forums.  It makes them want to join.

So I thought it would be wise to do so.  Also it is important that I myself add all the Inferno and Hydro work to a website do people can see what we have, and what we need.  I may develop an area where members can log in and actually add, edit, and delete content in the Inferno and Hydro section.  We will have to wait and see.

Also I have been thinking recently.  I will shortly be asking three members of the forums.  If they would like to join the website even more.  What I mean about this.  I myself, and these three members together will run PokeProject.  These three members have contributed the most, and have stuck around the most.  I feel they will continue to do so, so shortly they will be invited.

I have a beta development website up and running now.  I will develop there secretly and then when I am ready I will move it to the proper location and announce it.  However until then I will not be showing it to anyone.  Unless you find it yourself.

Lastly.  I will be making a new category called “updates”.  Rather then having a normal web-page I will use the “updates” category of this blog for the updates of the whole network.

I haven’t posted a article for a while on here.  I apologize.  However I have since the last post here finally done the forums.  We have moved all members, posts, everything over to our own server now.  We are on vBulletin as well.  Finally paid for vBulletin and we have used vBulletin software instead of phpBB.

I will be working hard now.  Also the demo will have to be moved back.  I haven’t really been able to do anything.  However I will have to work loads and loads to get it going.  I need to also make some more changes to the forums.  I need to get various things finished before I do some serious updates.  However from now I promise to not be as lazy.

I thought I will make a post telling you guys and gals what I have done on my Pokemon Journey. As you know, this blog is taking the place of an old one I used to use. Nothing ever did get posted. Well actual game play anyways.

27th July Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games come out. That means I can use both Diamond and Pearl. I decided to use Pokemon Diamond, and I will also use Pearl for the missing Pokemon. Anyways with in a week, I got all eight badges. I then stopped playing the game for a while.

Perhaps playing now and then, I am not too sure. However just a couple of days after having Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. I was worrying about getting my main goal Pokemon. One day I watch Cartoon Network, this was like in July/August. Anyways on TV I saw a “Pokemon Summer Day Camp” advert.

It was advertising an Toys R Us event, which would be giving away Mew. I then went back on the Internet “which I was resting from, which made me watch the advert”. On the websites, I saw the event in Derby. I have actually been here before, so I know my way on the train and how to get there.

However there was one problem. We was meant to be going on holiday to visit some of my family. Luckily, it got cancelled. However there was one problem. It was a GBA event and I need an new GBA Pokemon game. Like two days before the event I found a UK store “Internet Store” which still had brand new copies of Pokemon FireRed.

I ordered it next day delivery. I thought I had to complete the game, so I was rushing through. However I then discovered information of UK based Pokemon forums and found out that I didn’t need to complete the game. So lucky, I have a new game which Mew can be added to.

I also checked all my other Pokemon games, my Emerald, and another one of my many FireReds had no cheats what so ever. I managed to get three Mews in the end, and they we’re all on none cheated games. Anyways I basically got the train to Derby, got Mew, and some food and left.

I don’t know why I left, I just did. I guess I only wanted Mew. From here, I played only my FireRed (the new one). Around Christmas time, I decide to play Diamond again. I have done a lot since then. I now have over 200 Pokemon and counting. The Mews are still on the original packs Nintendo downloaded them to, and are untouched.

I also have a Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, waiting on the new FireRed. All caught in Pokeballs, and untouched. However, I am not transferring them just yet. So far I have transferred over;

I have also started to add the Pokedex page to this blog. They will be added as they are obtained on Pokemon Diamond. You will have to wait a couple of days for me to get the 200 Pokemon I have already got. Anyways I don’t think there is too much stuff to add.

So from now on, all post entries will be on now and the future. Lets see how long it takes me to get all 493 Pokemon. Gotta Catch em All!
